{"id":21823,"date":"2015-06-25T08:22:04","date_gmt":"2015-06-25T06:22:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.icac.cat\/en\/services\/publications\/presentacio\/"},"modified":"2024-04-10T21:51:08","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T19:51:08","slug":"presentation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/services\/publications\/presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ICAC has a publications service through which it disseminates its own and external research in the field of classical archaeology in the widest sense.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2019, the ICAC has two independent bodies that ensure the quality, scientific rigour and prestige of its publications.<\/p>\n<p>Internally, the <strong>Editorial Commission<\/strong> is composed of researchers from the different research areas of the Institute and the officers responsible for the editorial process. Its main functions are the approval of publication proposals and scientific advice in the Institute&#8217;s editorial activity.<\/p>\n<p>External, the <a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/services\/publications\/editorial-advisory-board\/\">Editorial Advisory Board<\/a>\u00a0and the <a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/services\/publications\/normativa\/\">peer review system<\/a> guarantee the rigour and scientific contribution of the books in the Institute\u2019s two collections: <a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/serveis\/publicacions\/col%C2%B7leccio\/documenta\/\">Documenta<\/a>\u00a0(print) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/serveis\/publicacions\/col%C2%B7leccio\/trama\/\">Trama<\/a><strong> (<\/strong>digital).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/serveis\/publicacions\/col%C2%B7leccio\/documenta\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10828 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/logo-documenta.jpg\" alt=\"logo-documenta\" width=\"300\" height=\"53\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/serveis\/publicacions\/col%C2%B7leccio\/trama\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10830 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/logo-trama.jpg\" alt=\"logo-trama\" width=\"220\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition to publication in print or in digital format, the books are available in Open Access (PDF format) nine months after their presentation. They can be found both on this website and at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recercat.cat\/handle\/2072\/220028\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Recercat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The ICAC is listed in the <a href=\"http:\/\/epuc.cchs.csic.es\/SPI\/ranking_disciplinas.php?materia=Arqueologia y Prehistoria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SPI<\/a> (Scholarly Publishers Indicators), ranking of scientific book publishers in the area of archaeology and prehistory.
