The Institut Catal\u00e0 d’Arqueologia Cl\u00e0ssica has recently welcomed Ms. Lluna Magarolas<\/a> as a predoctoral researcher under the Joan Or\u00f3 fellowship program<\/strong> for the recruitment of predoctoral research personnel in training (FI 2025), supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya.<\/p>\n

Thanks to this fellowship, she will develop her doctoral thesis titled \u2018Estructuraci\u00f3 del territori, patrons d’assentament i articulaci\u00f3 del sistema de villae a l’ager Tarraconensis entre el per\u00edode tardo-republic\u00e0 i l’\u00e8poca imperial<\/em><\/strong>\u2018.<\/p>\n

Magarolas holds a degree in Art History and Archaeology from the URV, and she completed the Master\u2019s Degree in Applied Classical Archaeology: Research and Transfer (URV-ICAC-UAB).<\/p>\n

As part of her academic training, she has actively participated in several ICAC research projects, such as the excavations at the Roman villa of\u00a0Mas dels Frares<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and the coordination of the cleaning and geophysical survey campaign at the\u00a0Mas d\u2019en Bosc<\/em><\/strong> site, as part of her master\u2019s thesis, El centre productor vitivin\u00edcola de Mas d’en Bosc (Constant\u00ed, ager Tarraconensis).<\/em><\/p>\n

Her doctoral thesis will be co-supervised by ICAC researchers Josep Maria Palet<\/a> (GIAP) and Josep Maria Macias<\/a> (MIRMED).<\/p>\n
