{"id":102965,"date":"2024-06-28T10:02:05","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T08:02:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icac.cat\/?p=102965"},"modified":"2025-10-28T13:15:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T12:15:07","slug":"icac-receives-support-from-fecyt-to-promote-the-arqueopirenaia-ii-project-in-the-eastern-pyrenees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/actualitat\/noticies\/2024\/icac-receives-support-from-fecyt-to-promote-the-arqueopirenaia-ii-project-in-the-eastern-pyrenees\/","title":{"rendered":"ICAC receives support from FECYT to promote the ArqueoPirenaia II project in the Eastern Pyrenees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC) has been selected by the <strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola para la Ciencia y la Tecnolog\u00eda (FECYT)<\/strong>\u00a0 to receive funding under <strong>the knowledge transfer project call. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"destacat-entrevista dreta\">\n<p>The project will focus on social, educational, and heritage mediation in the high mountain cultural landscape: the N\u00faria and Coma de Vaca valleys, in the heart of the Eastern Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>This initiative continues a well-established research line at ICAC for over a decade, led by the Landscape Archaeology Research Group (GIAP).<\/p>\n<p>Its main goal is to bring the results of archaeological research in this unique environment closer to the public, fostering recognition of its heritage, historical, and cultural value.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/recerca\/projectes-de-recerca\/projecte\/arqueopirenaia-ii-transferencia-social-didactica-y-mediacion-del-patrimonio-en-un-paisaje-cultural-de-alta-montana-valles-de-nuria-y-coma-de-vaca-pirineos-orientales\/\">ArqueoPirenaia II<\/a> will promote the mediation and dissemination of archaeological heritage through educational activities, participatory actions, and teaching resources tailored to diverse audiences.
