Es van produir canvis en la relaci\u00f3 hum\u00e0-entorn a mesura que els agricultors van ser menys nombrosos per\u00f2 cada vegada m\u00e9s essencials com a prove\u00efdors d\u2019aliments per a consumidors urbans. El volum tamb\u00e9 analitza com les ciutats actuals comparteixen patrons de producci\u00f3 i consum amb els primers assentaments urbans, i com podem abordar q\u00fcestions de sostenibilitat, millora nutricional i altres objectius desitjats reconeixent les limitacions i oportunitats que el creixement urb\u00e0 ha generat en relaci\u00f3 amb l\u2019alimentaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest \u00e9s el segon volum de la s\u00e8rie, editada per Katheryn C. Twiss (Stony Brook University, NY) i Alexandra Livarda (ICAC\/GIAP-CERCA). <em>Elements in the Archaeology of Food<\/em> mostra la vitalitat i diversitat intel\u00b7lectual de la recerca arqueol\u00f2gica sobre alimentaci\u00f3 al segle XXI.
