This is an external body composed of eight renowned experts:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Juan Manuel Abascal<\/strong><br \/>\nUniversity of Alicante (Spain)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Susan E. Alcock<\/strong><br \/>\nUniversity of Michigan \u2013 Ann Arbor (USA)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Achim Arbeiter<\/strong><br \/>\nUniversity of G\u00f6ttingen Georg-August (Germany)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Dario Bernal<\/strong><br \/>\nUniversity of C\u00e1diz (Spain)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Yannis Maniatis<\/strong><br \/>\nNational Centre for Scientific Research \u201cDemokritos\u201d (Greece)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Luisa Migliorati<\/strong><br \/>\nUniversity of Roma \u201cLa Sapienza\u201d (Italy)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Rosa Plana-Mallart<\/strong><br \/>\nUniversity Paul-Val\u00e9ry Montpellier 3 (France)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Lucrezia Ungaro<\/strong><br \/>\nSovrintendenza Capitolina, Directorate of Museums of Rome (Italy)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Besides, the <strong>Editorial Commission<\/strong> is also been renewed. The main functions of this internal body are\u00a0the approval of publication proposals, the scientific advice in the Institute\u2019s editorial activity and the supervision on the peer review process. It is composed of researchers from the different research areas of the Institute and the officers responsible for the editorial process.<\/p>\n<p>The renewal of both Editorial Advisory Board and Editorial Commission has taken into account gender balance and the resultant bodies are gendered balanced.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ICAC is leading a clear commitment to quality and rigour in its publications.
