The University Rovira i Virgili (URV), the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) collaborate in the organisation of the University Master’s Degree in Applied Classical Archaeology. Research and Transfer (MACA)<\/a> for advanced training in the application of cutting-edge scientific techniques and technologies to archaeology.<\/p>\n

This new master’s degree program is an interesting proposal for all those who wish to delve into the study of the Material Culture of Antiquity with a rigorous and professional methodological framework.<\/p>\n

This new MACA master’s degree is aimed at graduates in fields such as Archaeology, Classical Studies, History, History of Art, Anthropology or Architecture, among others, who wish to delve into new professional areas in Archaeology, and specialise in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies<\/strong> such as remote sensing, GIS and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to landscape archaeology, lithic archaeometry, analysis of bioarchaeological remains or 3D model creation from architectural remains.<\/p>\n
