Disseny, fusta i sostenibilitat&#8221;, which opened this week at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ajuntament.barcelona.cat\/museudeldisseny\/ca\/exposicio\/toquem-fusta-disseny-fusta-i-sostenibilitat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Design Museum<\/a> (Barcelona).<\/h6>\n<p>Two of the 420 pieces that make up the exhibition come from the <a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/actualitat\/noticies\/2021\/stories-from-the-wells-how-the-roman-wells-of-guissona-can-shed-new-light-on-life-in-the-past\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guissona excavations<\/a>, which were carried out by the UAB and the ICAC within the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/recerca\/projectes-de-recerca\/projecte\/la-ciutat-romana-de-iesso-guissona-lurbanisme-i-larticulacio-dels-espais-publics-i-privats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roman City of Iesso (Guissona) research project. L&#8217;urbanisme i l&#8217;articulaci\u00f3 dels pais p\u00fablics i privats. (Projecte Quadriennal. Generalitat de Catalunya. CLT009\/18\/00099)<\/a>, led by <a href=\"http:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/who-are-we\/staff\/jguitart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Josep Guitart<\/strong><\/a> (UAB-ICAC) and N\u00faria Roman\u00ed (UAB-ICAC).<\/p>\n<p>The pieces on display are a bucket and a bowl that appeared in the well outside the wall of the Roman city of <em>Iesso<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/actualitat\/noticies\/2021\/stories-from-the-wells-how-the-roman-wells-of-guissona-can-shed-new-light-on-life-in-the-past\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">see related news<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition <a href=\"https:\/\/ajuntament.barcelona.cat\/museudeldisseny\/ca\/exposicio\/toquem-fusta-disseny-fusta-i-sostenibilitat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Toquem Fusta! Disseny, fusta i sostenibilitat&#8221;<\/a> focuses on <strong>wood as a key material at the service of human cultural evolution<\/strong>.
