11-F has been the International Day of Women and Girls in Science<\/a> since 2016, after its proclamation by the General Assembly of the United Nations. She is also a very active person on issues on gender equality and sexual harassment, as representative of the School of History and Archeology at the committee of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n With the talk “The story of golden bracelet: a personal view on fine juggling act of being a working woman in academia”<\/strong>, Prof. Valamoti will reflect on the multiple difficulties that women researchers face, as well as the importance of awareness and visibility actions.<\/p>\n This talk will be held on Friday, February 10, at 1 p.m. (CET)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u00a1Open and on line, at this link<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n Starting on February 10, and for several days, we will launch an awareness campaign on social networks to enhance some of our references in archeology.
