Next November, 15 to 17, Segovio will hold the second International Scientific Meeting “The quarry and the monument (2). The architectural project and the organization of the work in ancient times”<\/strong><\/a>, organized by UNED and the ArPA-LIRA research group within the framework of the research project SULMARE<\/a>: Sulcato marble iron. Quarries, workshops, artisans and clients of artistic stone productions in Hispania Tarraconensis. (PID2019-106967GB-I00), led by researchers Diana Gorostidi<\/a> (URV-ICAC) and Pilar Lapuente<\/a> (UniZar-ICAC).<\/p>\n

En la Antig\u00fcedad, la praxis de la construcci\u00f3n exig\u00eda que el programa constructivo, elaborado por el arquitecto, fuera recibido y “materializado” por el jefe de obra y por los talleres y los obreros que trabajaban para \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

El procedimiento operativo se basaba en una transposici\u00f3n a la realidad de los datos volum\u00e9tricos y espaciales correctamente adquiridos, gracias a s\u00f3lidos conocimientos t\u00e9cnico-geom\u00e9tricos.<\/p>\n

Aparentemente se trataba de un proceso puramente t\u00e9cnico, que depend\u00eda sobre todo de la capacidad del personal encargado de la obra. En realidad, se trata de un proceso en el que intervienen numerosos factores, como la relaci\u00f3n entre el monumento y los materiales empleados o las necesidades que comporta el desarrollo del cantiere<\/em> de construcci\u00f3n, es decir, todos aquellos cambios o ajustes que impone la misma actividad constructiva, un fen\u00f3meno que, adem\u00e1s, a menudo produce soluciones originales e innovadoras.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Materiali, officinae, sistema di costruzione i produzione nei cantieri di et\u00e0 imperiale<\/em><\/a> (edited by Edizioni Quasar in 2020, with the collaboration of the ICAC).<\/p>\n
