Have you ever wondered what secrets Tarragona Cathedral hides?<\/h6>\n

There’s still a lot to discover, and we’re still investigating!<\/p>\n

As part of the III phase of the Tarragona Cathedral project<\/strong><\/a>, we have completed a new scan of the architectural ensemble of this historical jewel.<\/p>\n

This work, at the hands of the URV Technical School of Architecture (ETSA)<\/a>, has generated an incredible three-dimensional model<\/strong> that will help us deepen the archaeological and architectural research of the construction processes that go from the 1st to the 19th century AD.<\/p>\n

Thanks to this model, we will be able to improve the management and conservation of the monument, and also create new ways of disseminating heritage through ICT.<\/p>\n

The work has been carried out in recent weeks by professor Agust\u00ed Costa and researcher David Moreno, from ETSA-URV, accompanied by our team led by Josep Maria Macias<\/strong><\/a> (MIRMED research group).<\/p>\n
