It is a Catalan institution with an international focus, leading research and conservation efforts in archaeological heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Tarragona, a city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, its researchers are dedicated to understanding the past by studying archaeological remains and promoting the preservation of historical legacy.
