{"id":99484,"date":"2025-04-02T15:44:03","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T13:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icac.cat\/?p=99484"},"modified":"2025-05-02T11:49:25","modified_gmt":"2025-05-02T09:49:25","slug":"icac-achieves-excellence-in-social-impact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icac.cat\/en\/actualitat\/noticies\/2025\/icac-achieves-excellence-in-social-impact\/","title":{"rendered":"ICAC achieves excellence in social impact"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>For the second consecutive evaluation, the institute has received an A in the evaluation of the social impact narrative conducted by the CERCA institution.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The institute presented a social impact narrative on &#8220;High Mountain Cultural Landscapes.&#8221; This is based on the research developed by the GIAP research group, led by Prof. Josep Maria Palet.<\/p>\n<p>An international panel was responsible for evaluating the different CERCA centers. For the ICAC, they highlighted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An impact based on high-quality research.<\/li>\n<li>The cross-sectional reach of the impact generated in different fields such as politics, tourism, and the revaluation of professional profiles.<\/li>\n<li>The excellent joint work with different local agents.<\/li>\n<li>The value of cultural heritage conservation.<\/li>\n<li>The contribution of the Arqueoroutes to the de-seasonalisation of tourist activity.<\/li>\n<li>The good presentation of the &#8220;impact pathway,&#8221; providing evidence and proof of the work done and the impacts generated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The excellent result obtained highlights the work and strategies of the Social Impact and Transfer Unit (UTIS), which was launched by the ICAC management in 2023.
