‘Historical Maps to Document Archaeology’ hosted by the MAHSA and MAEASaM projects. A half-day workshop to provide an understanding of the importance of historic maps and their use as original sources to understand the landscape and identify possible archaeological sites. The last session provides an understanding of machine learning and automatic detection of archaeological sites from historical maps.
