International Conference “The Late Roman villae in Hispania”

31 October 2018

ICAC researcher Marta Prevosti participates in the International Congress “The Late Roman villae in Hispania”, to be held in Palencia from November 15 to 17, 2018. Prevosti will present “Everyday life in the Late Roman villae in Hispania” (November 16, 4 pm).

The Congress is organized by the Culture Service of the Provincial Council of Palencia and aimed particularly at those interested in the Late Roman world, with the participation of internationally recognized experts from Spanish and European universities. You can consult here the detailed program.

The event responds to the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Roman Villae La Olmeda (Pedrosa de la Vega, Palencia), an archaeological site that Javier Cortes Álvarez de Miranda discovered on his property incidentally in 1968.
