Pre-enrolment online application to the Master in Classical Archaeology, open till May 15

First period to pre-enrolment to the Master in Classical Archaeology (academic year 2019/2020) will be open till May, 15.

After this first application period, it will be open a second online enrolment period from May, 16 to July, 19, if there are vacant posts.

The Inter-University Master’s Degree in Classical Archaeology (11th edition) provides students with basic, methodological, technological and advanced training in the main research lines on protohistoric, Graeco-Roman, and Late Antiquity Archaeology, focus on the studies of the ancient Mediterranean societies.

There are three priority areas of specialisation:

Landscape archaeology,

Archaeology of architecture,

Archaeology of cultural material.

Interview to Julio C. Ruiz Rodríguez, a former student of the Master and now a predoctoral researcher at ICAC:

“Among the existing higher education offer in the Iberian peninsula, this master seemed to me the more suitable for my academic interests. Also taking into account that it is joined by three top institutions, not only in Catalonia but throughout the national scope: the University Rovira i Virgili, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology.”
