On Monday, March 31, an extraordinary meeting of the ICAC Board of Directors took place, during which the new Statutes of the Institute were approved. This allows the center to adapt to the new specificities of the Science Law and the formalization of the adhesion of the Tarragona City Council to the consortium. The director of the ICAC, Josep Maria Palet, highlighted the importance of this adhesion:

“Let’s celebrate, this is a very important step for the city of Tarragona, for its archaeological heritage and for the ICAC and the University, especially in 2025, the 25th anniversary of the UNESCO declaration.”

The adhesion will strengthen the link between the city of Tarragona and the center, which will be key for the knowledge transfer and impact on the citizens.
