This December the four technicians hired under the Investigo program joined the ICAC.

The Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology opened a call for three positions for technologist staff and one position for technical one, to work in different units and services of the Institute, within the framework of the Investigo programme. Their contract will run for two years.

The Investigo program (Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca) aims to fund programs for the hiring of young people (under 30 years of age) seeking employment for the development and exercise of functions, tasks, and research and innovation initiatives hired as (1) researchers with a doctorate degree, (2) technologist staff and (3) technicians, development and innovation staff.

The four people who have joined the ICAC are:

Darío Herranz Rodrigo, as a technologist at the ICAC Archaeobiology Laboratory, under the supervision of doctors Lídia Colominas and Alexandra Livarda, Ramón y Cajal researchers and co-responsibles of the Laboratory. Herranz is joining the Landscape Archaeology Research Group (GIAP) and will work with the Archaeobotany, Archaeozoology and Paleoenvironment teams.

Inmaculada Richaud López, in the job position of a technologist for knowledge transfer, under the supervision of the Responsible for the Communication and Publications area of the Institute, Maura Lerga Felip. Richaud will be in charge of the implementation of knowledge transfer and socialization projects based on the research carried out at the center, among other functions.

Arnau Estivill Guasch, in the job position of technologist for the management of scientific production and research data, at the Documentation and Library Center, under the supervision of the person in charge of the service, Lydia Gil. Estivill will be in charge of managing the platforms for the open dissemination of scientific production and research data, among other functions.
