7th International Conference on Late Roman Coarse Wares, Cooking Wares and Amphorae in the Mediterranean: Archaeology and Archaeometry (LRCW 7)
With this first circular, we would like to inform you that the LRCW7 will be held in València, Riba-roja de Túria and Alacant (15-19 October 2019). The conference will be organized by the Municipality of València (Secció d’Investigació Arqueològica Municipal de València), the Municipality of Riba-roja de Túria (III Jornades d’Arqueologia de Riba-roja), the Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica (ICAC), and the Equip de Recerca Arqueològica i Arqueomètrica de la Universitat de Barcelona (ERAAUB), in collaboration with the Museu d’Arqueologia (MARQ) of Alacant, the Museu de Prehistòria of València, and the Universitat de Teologia of València.
The ICAC is an active member of the organization, taking part in the Local Organizing Committee (Josep Maria Macias), the Local Scientific Committee (Ramon Jàrrega) and the Local Secretaryship (Karen Fortuny, Esperança Huguet, Ada Lasheras, Francesc Rodríguez and Ana Isabel Gallego).
Abstracts
Those interested in participating in the conference can communicate with the organizing committee of the LRCW 7 to the following address: Lrcw7conference@gmail.com. The deadline for abstract submission is 30 April 2019.
During the conference, the participants will have the opportunity to visit several archaeological sites and examine Late Roman pottery from different parts of the Mediterranean. Further activities are planned, offering the delegates the opportunity to become acquainted with the pottery production of the Late Roman period and Late Antiquity in Hispania.
