Open call at the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology with three positions as technologists and one position as a technician, to work in different units of the Institute, within the framework of the Investigo program.
The Investigo program (Agència de Gestió d’Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca) aims to fund programs for the hiring of young people (under 30 years of age) seeking employment for the development and exercise of functions, tasks, and research and innovation initiatives hired as (1) researchers with a doctorate degree, (2) technologist staff and (3) technicians, development and innovation staff.
At the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology, a total of four positions are offered: three positions as technologists and one position as a technician.

The four available positions are:
1. Technologist assigned to the ICAC Archaeobiology Laboratory
The selected person will join the Landscape Archeology research group (GIAP) and will work with the Archaeobotany, Archaeozoology, and Paleoenvironment teams (code 017.119 and 100011TG1 of the Investigo Program).

2. Technologist for knowledge transfer and dissemination
The selected person will join the Communication and Publishing Department at the Research Management and Assistance Area (code 017.120 and 100011TG2 of the Investigo Program), to implement knowledge transfer and socialization projects, among other tasks.

3. Technologist for knowledge transfer and dissemination: scientific output and research data
The selected person will join the Documentation Center and Library (code 017.121 and 100011TG3 of the Investigo Program) for the management of the platforms for the open dissemination of scientific production and research data, among other tasks.

4. Technician assigned to the ICAC Archaeometry Laboratory
The selected person will join the Archaeometry and Artistic Productions research group (ArPA) and will work at the Archaeometric Studies Unit (UEA) (code 017.122 and 100011TC1 of the Investigo Program).

The profiles, tasks, and requirements for the four types of contracts are listed in the calls for the positions. Contracts will be 24 months long.
- General requirements:
- Being 16 years old or older and not having reached the age of 30.
- Being unemployed and registered as a job seeker in the Public Employment Service of Catalonia.
- Not having carried out any type of research activity at the ICAC in the period of 6 months immediately prior to the start of the contract.
- The three requirements described above must be met at the time of starting the contract.
