Maria Gradillas Reverté holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Barcelona (2013), with her doctoral thesis titled “Organizational Structure, Legitimacies, and Learning in Non-profit Development Organizations.” She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and specialized in Social Anthropology at the Complutense University of Madrid in 1993. She has undertaken various studies and postgraduate courses related to knowledge management, policy evaluation, programs and projects, and economic and financial management. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has worked in development cooperation entities, both in Spain and Latin America. She has served as an associate professor at the University of Salamanca and the University of Barcelona at different stages. Since 2011, she has been involved in management roles in various third-sector entities in Barcelona, particularly in the field of intellectual disabilities (Aspanias and Nexe Foundation). Her most recent managerial role was at CARNET, a pioneering urban mobility research center at UPC. Since July 2023, she has been the current administrator of ICAC-CERCA.
