To implement the various anti-fraud directives, both from the EU and the Generalitat, ICAC-CERCA has promoted the creation of an internal reporting system (ethical mailbox), linked and managed by the Institute’s Ethics Committee. The purpose of this channel is to enable anyone to report or file a complaint or allegation regarding any type of regulatory infringement, breach of the code of conduct, abuse, or other irregularities that may be occurring within ICAC-CERCA. This measure aims to ensure the anonymity of the person making the report.
The basic function of this system will be to receive alerts, assess them, and, if they are substantiated, refer them to the appropriate bodies for investigating the facts or initiating an administrative sanctioning procedure or criminal proceedings.
