Brief CV
Graduated in Archeology from the University of Barcelona in 2021. Due to her Degree Final Project entitled “The settlements of the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula between the arrival of the Carthaginians and the first revolts against the Romans”, directed by Dr. Jaume Noguera (UB) and for which she obtained Distinction, she began to be interested in Iberian defensive structures related to the Second Punic War. During 2021 she also enjoyed the Collaboration Scholarship in Departments (MEFP), with Dr. Joan Sanmartí (GRAPCE-UB) as tutor, developed in the Department of Protohistoric Archeology of the University of Barcelona. During his studies she participated in various archaeological excavations, in sites such as Darró (Vilanova i la Geltrú), Masies de Sant Miquel (Banyeres del Penedès), Camp de les Lloses (Tona), the necropolis of Castellons de Flix IV (Flix), Puig de Sant Andreu (Ullastret), Castellet de Banyoles (Tivissa) or Vilar (Valls) among others.
She completed the interuniversity master’s degree in Applied Classical Archaeology. Research and Transfer from Rovira i Virgili University, the Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica and the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2022-2023. During the course of the master’s degree, she obtained the PIR scholarship (Research Initiation Program) offered by the ICAC and developed with the Protohistory research team of the same institution. The Master’s Final Project that she carried out within the framework of the scholarship, entitled “The Cesetan Iberians in the context of the Second Punic War and the first revolts against the Romans” and directed by Dr. Maria Carme Belarte (ICREA-ICAC), obtained Distinction. Contact with the ICAC allowed her to participate in archaeological excavations carried out by the Protohistory research team, directed by Dr. Maria Carme Belarte (ICREA-ICAC), and the Archeology of cultural landscapes and paleoenvironment research team, directed by Dr. Josep Maria Palet (GIAP-ICAC), from this same institution, in sites such as Costa de la Serra (La Secuita), Meranges I (Meranges) or Mas Cap de Ferro (Nulles).
In January 2024, she began her PhD thesis, entitled “The protohistoric combustion structures of the Mediterranean coast of the Iberian Peninsula from an ethnoarchaeological perspective”, directed by Dr. Maria Carme Belarte (ICREA-ICAC), within the framework of FPI aid granted by the State Investigation Agency. Her incorporation into the TRANSCOMB-2 project allows her to develop her new interest in domestic architecture, ethnoarchaeology and experimental archaeology.
