The ICAC has a three-pronged knowledge transfer strategy based on support for heritage management institutions: it implements research in other socialisation projects, it provides scientific-technical services deriving from research in the experimental sciences applied to classical archaeology, and it establishes synergies with the institutions responsible for teaching the sciences of the antiquity to secondary school and pre-university students.
This triple aspect favours the territorialisation of the ICAC’s activities. It also opens up new fields of interdisciplinary collaboration with the different agents involved in the management and dissemination of historic heritage.
