The Dr Pere de Palol i Salellas collection and personal library was brought to the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology in summer 2006. Of huge value, it allows a glimpse into scientific life of one of the most important and prolific Catalan researchers and the scientific concerns and objectives of a person dedicated to research.

The library, which can be freely consulted, consists of 4,276 books and 2,206 copies of journals. The personal collection, to which access is restricted, contains 21,556 textual and 25,978 iconographic documents.
