The Bioarchaeology Laboratory (archaeobotany and zooarchaeology) has the necessary facilities and infrastructure for the study of bioarchaeological material (fauna, seeds, charcoals, etc.). Its facilities are used for teaching and research at the national and international levels.
It has reference collections of animal bones and seeds for the study of archaeological material, as well as reference atlases and equipment for optical microscopy and scanners. It has a dirty area for washing and floating materials and a clean area for their classification and analysis.
