Brief CV
Graduated in History (2014) from the Universitat de València and obtained a master’s degree in Classical Archaeology (2016) from the Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica, la Universitat Rovira i Virgili y la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His interest in epigraphy, and specifically in tripartite monolithic pedestals, began with his master’s thesis «L’Officina Lapidaria Flàvia Tarraconense en Terres Valencianes: Anàlisis dels pedestals honorífics a partir de tres casos d’estudi: Saguntum, Saetabis i Valentia» directed by Dr. Diana Gorostidi Pi.
He worked as a technician for the research team Arqueometria i Produccions Artístiques (ArPA) and the Unitat d’Estudis Arqueomètrics (UEA). In 2016 and 2021, he worked as an assistant technician in the epigraphy research line, designing and implementing the database of honorific pedestals from Tarraco. In 2018, he managed the online catalogue Marmor Lapisqve, overseeing and preparing the web records of the respective materials.
Throughout his career as a researcher and technician, he has participated as a non-doctoral member of the I+D project «Officina lapidariae Tarraconense. Canteras, talleres y producciones artísticas en piedra de la Provincia Tarraconensis» (HAR2015-65379-P) and, later, «Sulcato marmore ferre (SULMARE). Canteras, talleres, artesanos y comitentes de las producciones artísticas en piedra en la Hispania Tarraconensis» (PID2019-106967GB-I00).
In 2021, he began his doctoral thesis entitled «Los pedestales honoríficos de la Officina Lapidaria Tarraconensis: Estudio sobre la difusión y producción seriada del pedestal tripartito moldurado», supervised by Dr. Diana Gorostidi Pi, thanks to an FPI contract (PRE2020-093413) with the Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica (2021–2025). As part of this doctoral project, he has undertaken two research stays abroad: the first at Sapienza, Università di Roma under the supervision of Dr. Gianluca Gregori (2021), and the second at the AUSONIUS center of the Université Michel de Montaigne-Bordeaux III under the supervision of Dr. Milagros Navarro Caballero (2024).
The writing of the doctoral thesis is in its final stage, and he expects to defend it during the first quarter of 2026.
Currently, he is a predoctoral researcher affiliated with the ICAC and a member of the ArPA research team, specializing in the study of tripartite pedestals from the city of Tarraco.
