My paper, ‘Sunburst, starlight and moonglow: Helena’s iconography and narrative in the context of divine cosmology’ (approximately 8,000 words), deploying ideas and artefacts (chiefly coins and statuary) from the Classical to Late Antique Mediterranean worlds, was read to the fifteenth gathering of the symposium ‘Niš and Byzantium’ (University of Niš, Department of Archaeology) in June 2016, and accepted for publication in the Proceedings due in 2017.
