I am Dr. Pangambam Sendash Singh (Ph.D.)
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Landscape Archaeology Research Group (GIAP), Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC), Tarragona. I am responsible for investigating novel machine learning algorithms to automatically detect archaeological heritage sites using data obtained from multiple satellite imagery. My postdoctoral research work is hosted by Dr. Héctor A. Orengo Romeu under the MAHSA project.
I completed my Masters and Ph.D. degree both in Computer Science from Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi India. My Ph.D. research area lies in the fields of Computational Intelligence, Deep Learning and its applications in Multispectral and Hyperspectral Image Analysis for diverse application domains. Before that, I did my Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Physics with Mathematics and Computer Science from DM College of Science, Imphal (under Manipur University), India.
